International SNOW LEOPARD DAY - October 23. Snow Leopards are called as "Ghosts of the Mountains". Mostly they live in Snow capped Mountains, that is they are called as Snow Leopards. Snow leopards symbolize greatness, courage, resilience, and a connection to nature, especially in Kyrgyz and Ladakhi cultures.
There's a need to protect this animal. We need to create awareness among people about the importance of wildlife protection for forest growth, better earth, greener future and healthy life friendly environment.
